Yesterday was long and hot!

I am just too busy cleaning up and sorting samples and three hundred images to write. I can say my initial impression has not changed from yesterday and an artificial substrate (creek bed) has far less biodiversity of native species. Unfortunately most non-scientists know slow little about the subject of native organism biodiversity they do not understand it. How many native birds, plants, and insects can you recognize? It is not something anyone pays attention to - until it is gone and the living with the consequences make life difficult. One of the primary goals of this blog is to educate non-scientists.

Enjoy the images ... there are more to come!
